What is Cloud City:
Cloud City is the VGG's gaming convention celebrating Anime's influence on RPG's and gaming in general.

What is Anime Evolution:
"Anime Evolution is an annual three-day event celebrating Japanese animation and Asian popular culture. Activities that we feature include interactive panel discussions with industry guests, cultural demonstrations, 24-hour video rooms, costume contests, a charity auction, games, and more. It is an event suitable for people of all ages, and families are welcome to attend.

Anime Evolution’s focus is entertainment, community and cultural diversity in a fun, inclusive and accessible setting." - About AE

We have three roleplaying game designers coming as Guests of Honor, all of whom have designed amazing and diverse anime-inspired games, and all of whom are residents of the west coast (two from Portland, one from Seattle).

Jake Richmond of Atarashi Games

Jake Richmond is the co-founder of Atarashi Games, the innovative publisher of role playing games for fans of manga, anime and Asian culture. Jake has designed several critically acclaimed games, including the shoujo/horror themed Panty Explosion, the Battle Royale inspired Classroom Deathmatch and the animal lawyer dancing game Sea Dracula. Jake invites Cloud City attendees to beta test his upcoming games at the convention!

Matt Schlotte of Atarashi Games

Although Matt hasn't yet submitted a bio to AE, here's a few things to know about him: He and Jake together created Atarashi Games in 2006. He co-developed Panty Explosion and Classroom Deathmatch, and is looking forward to playing both these games and new ones at this year's Cloud City.

Ben Lehman of These Are Our Games

Ben Lehman also hasn't submitted his bio to AE yet, as he's currently in China. Ben lives in Seattle, and is the designer of award-winning Polaris and the phenomenal post-apocalyptic, giant robot-fueled love story, Bliss Stage. He's excited about playing these games and others, as well as talking about games and life, at this year's Cloud City.

We are very excited to have these three wonderful guys at Cloud City this year!

Hope to see you in August at Cloud City!
